About Lauren Wittenberg Weiner
Lauren Wittenberg Weiner became an accidental entrepreneur when she quit her White House job to follow her husband on military orders to Italy. Once there, she was told that military spouses were prohibited from holding professional-level jobs. She started WWC Global, and she and her team grew it to $100m in annual revenue before selling it to the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation in 2022.
In 2018, WWC Global won the largest-ever contract to a woman-owned business in US Special Operations Command headquarters history— the headquarters for the Navy SEALs and Army Green Berets—making WWC Global one of the most successful women-owned small businesses in the government contracting space, and the top graduate of the small disadvantaged business program for the US Government.
Lauren has an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) and a Ph.D. in psychology from Dartmouth College. She lives in Tampa Bay with her family, where she sits on the Board for Baycare Health System (a $5.2B not-for-profit), the Tampa Bay WAVE technology incubator, and the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce. She is the primary caregiver for her aging parents and a loud and proud hockey mom.

Approachable credibility
Lauren is an authentic leader, speaker, and mentor who routinely shows “behind the
curtain” to the reality behind her success. In addition to her professional duties, she is the mom of 2 teenaged
hockey players (and has become close with the pediatric orthopedist accordingly) and the primary caregiver of two
aging parents. From her discussions of “work/life chaos” and the two questions to ask yourself to keep your life as
“balanced” as possible to her theories on why Imposter Syndrome is actually a superpower, her humor and candor help
audiences find their own authentic path to their own version of success.

I’m not good at hiding who I am—the good, the bad, and the ugly of my whole life, not just my work life—and that has been one of the biggest drivers of my success (and more importantly my ability to help others succeed).
